An American arts foundation's artist list holds the top of assyrian artist, with Paul Batou's print shop second and a museum page fourth. Google showed no question box on this search. A living Assyrian artist with a Sydney exhibition record is exactly what the searcher is looking for.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example volume an Australian art market this size supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once your pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Collector or commission enquiries at 5% of those visits, rounded down.
Enquiries, not sales. No prices are shown on your site, so I have not put a dollar figure on them.
Halve the example volume and it is still two collector enquiries a month going to marketplaces and galleries today. One sale or commission can be worth more than a month of anything else here.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Give the homepage a title, a description and a short artist statement naming Sydney and Assyrian contemporary art, add a page of available works and one for commissions, and link each exhibition page back to them so collectors have somewhere to go next.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bluethumb | ~500 | Not dated | "Artwork by Sara Roberts", one of its artists | bluethumb.com.au | Priced originals, delivery and 7-day returns |
| Paul Batou | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | paulbatou.pixels.com | Canvas, framed and metal prints |
| Rmsina Daniel | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | rmsinadaniel.com/contact | A four-field contact form |
About 500 ads on record point to bluethumb.com.au. The ones in view sell single works, one by an artist named in the headline, with the painting as the picture. None appeared in a paid slot on the six searches; the two paid results were art fairs. For one artist, a small campaign on your own name and Assyrian art would be the place to start.
The homepage opens on your installation, full width, which is the right first impression. Below it there are no words: no statement, no available works and no enquiry button. The contact page form asks for name, email and a message, and I did not submit it. No GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta tag fired on the homepage.
Theirs: Bluethumb leads with the category, such as original landscape or abstract art by Australian artists. Missing: the artist. The reader is offered a style, not a person or a story.
Theirs: short shop lines about new art added daily and easy returns. Missing: named proof. An exhibition history and a collection like the National Art School's are the kind of detail a marketplace ad cannot claim.
Theirs: one painting per card with a shop button. Missing: the work in a room. An installation photo, like the one on your homepage, shows scale and stops the scroll.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. The marketplace sells many artists to the feed at once, which leaves room for one artist with a story to speak to Sydney collectors directly.
The homepage shows the installation and stops. One line under it, such as enquire about a work or a commission, linked to your contact form, gives every visitor a next step.
The sitemap holds exhibitions but no page of works a collector can ask about. Listing them, with prices or price on request, turns interest into enquiries.
No tracking tag fired on the homepage. Adding them first means every enquiry can be traced to the search or post that sent it.
The homepage has no description and no text beyond the menu. A short statement naming Sydney and Assyrian contemporary art gives Google something to rank for the six searches.
Bluethumb is the only one of the three in the feed. A small test to Sydney art audiences around your next show is the cheapest way to learn what collectors respond to.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the homepage enquiry path I would add and how an available-works page could bring collector enquiries in.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
