Jaxy Apparel has what shoppers look for: handmade beanies, Made in Australia, 65 product pages and a $15 first-order offer already live. None of those pages is on page one for the six searches here. Little B's Nursery and Will & Bear hold two spots each, and both are running Meta ads today.

Baby Bunting, The Iconic and Target hold the top three for baby beanies australia, each with a collection page titled for the search. Little B's Nursery is the one small maker on page one, at #9, with a page called Knitted Baby Beanies. Google showed no question box on this search, so the searcher is shopping, not researching.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example volume a national product market like this supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once your collections sit around position three, rounded down.
Orders at 2% of those visits, a common rate for an online store, rounded down.
Four orders at $59, the sale price of a baby and toddler beanie on your own store. One beanie per order, no repeat buyers counted.
Halve the example volume and it is still two orders a month, about $118, going to the stores above you today. Every one of them is a customer who could buy the next size up.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Retitle the baby, kids and adult beanie collections so each targets one search, move the misspelt "bennies" collection to a correct address with a redirect, give the homepage a heading that says handmade Australian beanies, write a short intro on each collection and add product review markup.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Little B's Nursery | 5 | Not dated | "Newborn Knitwear | Little B's Nursery" | littlebsnursery.com.au | Knitwear sale prices, keepsake bag over $100 |
| Will & Bear | ~200 | Not dated | "Will & Bear | Premium Travel, Cowboy & Straw Hats" | willandbear.com/hats | A new fisherman beanie, shipping deal over $150 |
| Jaxy Apparel | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | jaxyapparel.com | $15 off a first order |
Will & Bear has about 200 ads on record pointing to willandbear.com, video and search, selling hats and beanies. Little B's Nursery has five, with its own name in the headlines. No paid results were seen on the six searches here. A capped Shopping and search campaign on the beanie terms, landing on your baby beanie collection, is the fastest way onto page one.
Your store does the basics a paid click needs: product pages with Add to cart, sale prices and $15 off a first order for a sign-up. The contact page has a name, phone and comment form; I did not submit it. No GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta tag was seen firing on the homepage, so a sale cannot yet be traced to the click that sent it.
Theirs: Little B's leads with a deadline, "Gone Till Next Christmas" and "First Christmas Happens Once". Missing: any word about who made the piece. Handmade and Made in Australia are the two things your store says first.
Theirs: "Loved by 30,000+ Mums" and same-day dispatch, specific proof in the link text. Missing: a reason a handmade knit is worth more than a chain-store beanie. Neither competitor makes that case.
Theirs: Will & Bear runs short videos of a hat being rolled up and packed; Little B's shows babies in the product. Missing: the making. Nobody in the feed shows a beanie being knitted by hand.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. Both competitors are already paying for this audience, so the feed has proven buyers of knitwear and beanies in it.
No paid results appeared on the six searches, and Will & Bear has about 200 Google ads on record. A capped Shopping and search campaign puts your beanies on page one while the organic work takes hold.
No GA4, Google Ads or Meta tag was seen on the homepage. Connecting them through Shopify's own channels means every order can be traced to the search or post that sent it.
Little B's shows 1,172 reviews on its homepage and both competitors have a rated Google profile. Asking past customers for a review gives a first-time buyer a reason to trust a $59 beanie.
Name the baby, kids and adult beanie collections for the searches people type, fix the "bennies" address with a redirect, and add a short Made in Australia intro to each.
Little B's and Will & Bear are both in the Meta feed today. A small test aimed at Australian parents is the cheapest audience in this report to learn from.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the beanie collections worth retitling first and what a capped Shopping campaign on the baby beanie searches would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
