Five channels, checked live on 9 October 2026. Every line traces to a source captioned on the page.
| Channel | Homsies | Hometime | L'Abode Accommodation | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google rankings 6 money searches | Page one on 0 of 6 | Page one on 5 of 6 | Page one on 4 of 6 | Both managers hold page one spots on the searches hosts use. You hold none yet. |
| Google Ads Transparency Centre, AU | 0 ads on record | 80 ads on record | 19 ads on record | Both are paying Google to reach property owners. Homsies has nothing on record. |
| Meta Ads Ad Library, active now | No ads found | Active, since 2 Oct 2026 | Active, since 2 Jun 2026 | Both are in the feed now, speaking to owners about earnings. Homsies is not. |
| Landing page Where the click lands | Income audit offer, sign-up, GA4 | Earnings estimate form, phone links | List your home, enquiry forms | Your homepage has a clear offer. No Google Ads or Meta tag fired to measure it. |
| Reputation Google rating (reviews) | No profile found | 4.1 (47), Sydney listing | 4.6 (568) | L'Abode shows 4.6 from 568 reviews. No Google profile came up for Homsies, so an owner checking you has nothing to read. |
Homsies has a clear idea most of this market does not: help hosts earn more without handing over the keys. The site already has 20 Host Academy articles, an income audit offer and GA4 running. None of it is on page one for the six searches here. Hometime holds five page one spots and has 80 Google ads on record.
Six searches a property owner types when looking for more short-term rental income, read live from Google Australia on 9 October 2026.
| Search term | Searches / mo | Homsies | Hometime | L'Abode Accommodation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| airbnb management sydney | High est. | Not in top 10 | #5 | #3 |
| airbnb co host | Medium est. | Not in top 10 | #10 | #4 |
| increase airbnb income | Medium est. | Not in top 10 | #8 | Not in top 10 |
| short term rental management | High est. | Not in top 10 | #3 | #2 |
| airbnb pricing tool | Medium est. | Not in top 10 | #10 | Not in top 10 |
| holiday home management | Medium est. | Not in top 10 | Not in top 10 | #10 |
Houst holds the top of airbnb management sydney, with L'Abode third and Hometime fifth, all with a dedicated Sydney page. Google's own question box asks what a typical Airbnb management fee is. That is the comparison Homsies can win: more income while the host keeps the keys.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example volume a national host market supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once your pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Sign-ups at 2% of those visits, rounded down. Lower than a service rate because sign-up is self-serve.
New host sign-ups, not paying customers. Your site shows no plan price, so what a host is worth is your number, not mine.
Halve the example volume and it is still a new host sign-up a month going to the managers above you today. The Host Academy articles to catch them are already written.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Rework the increase revenue, pricing strategy and self-managing articles so each targets one search, link them to the income audit, add a page aimed at hosts comparing co-hosting with doing it themselves, and set up a Google Business Profile.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hometime | 80 | Not dated | "Short Term Rental Managers" | hometime.io | An earnings estimate form and a $750 summer offer |
| L'Abode Accommodation | 19 | Not dated | "Full Property Management - Vetted Professional Tenants" | labodeaccommodation.com.au | List your home with an owner enquiry form |
| Homsies | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | homsies.com | An income audit, no credit card needed |
Hometime has 80 ads on record pointing to hometime.io, the ones in view from its verified company account, and L'Abode 19 pointing to its domain. Some L'Abode ads in view sell long-term letting. None of the six searches showed a paid result on the day, so the dates are unknown. A capped search campaign on the income searches, landing on the audit, is the fastest way to be seen.
Your homepage leads with one clear offer, the income audit, and repeats it down the page. The Get started button leads into sign-up, which I did not open or submit. There is no phone number, which suits a self-serve product. GA4 fires on the homepage. No Google Ads or Meta tag was seen, so ad sign-ups could not be counted yet.
Theirs: Hometime leads with summer, "We do the work. You get summer." L'Abode opens with a warning that a home could be wasting its earning potential. Missing: a number. Neither says what an owner could earn.
Theirs: both sell handing the property over to a manager. Missing: the host who wants to keep hosting. A Reddit thread on page one asks if a co-host is worth 20%, and nobody in the feed speaks to that host.
Theirs: Hometime offers $750 towards getting summer ready and an earnings estimate. L'Abode pairs owner ads with guest ads for its homes. Missing: proof on screen, such as the app showing extra income on a real listing.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more sign-ups. Both managers are paying to reach the same owners you want, so the feed is where the comparison is being made.
Hometime has 80 Google ads on record and none of the six searches showed a paid result on the day. A small campaign on the income searches, landing on your audit, brings hosts in while the articles climb.
GA4 already fires. Adding the Google Ads conversion tag and the Meta pixel means every sign-up can be traced to the click that sent it, before any budget is spent.
Both competitors are active on Meta selling a manager. A small test aimed at hosts who want to keep their keys tells you quickly whether that message lands.
You have an article on increasing Airbnb revenue and one on pricing strategy, and neither is on page one. Reworking each to target one search, linked to the audit, is where ranking starts.
No profile came up for Homsies, while L'Abode shows 4.6 from 568 reviews. A profile with reviews from your first hosts gives an owner something to check.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the two articles worth reworking first and what a capped search campaign to your income audit would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
