Five channels, checked live on 9 October 2026. Every line traces to a source captioned on the page.
| Channel | Hai Helper | The CareSide | Plan Tracker | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google rankings 6 money searches | Page one on 0 of 6 | Page one on 3 of 6 | Page one on 1 of 6 | The CareSide holds three spots with a single self-management guide. You hold none yet. |
| Google Ads Transparency Centre, AU | 0 ads on record | 16 ads on record | 13 ads on record | Both are paying Google. The CareSide ads in view sell home care, not NDIS tools. |
| Meta Ads Ad Library, active now | No ads found | ~120 active results | 1 active, since 1 Oct 2026 | Both are in the feed. Only Plan Tracker's single ad speaks to NDIS participants. |
| Landing page Where the click lands | Sign-up form, setup booking, contact form | Two forms, phone links | Contact form, call and book buttons | Your homepage lets a participant sign up on the spot. The traffic is what is missing. |
| Reputation Google rating (reviews) | No profile found | 4.2 (29) | 3.8 (187) | Plan Tracker shows 3.8 from 187 reviews and The CareSide 4.2 from 29. I found no Google profile under the Hai Helper name. |
Hai Helper has built what most self-management tools have not: a platform built to WCAG 2.1 AA, onshore data, a sign-up that runs in the browser and 17 articles for participants. None of its 54 pages is on page one for the six searches yet. The CareSide, a home care provider, holds three page one spots with one guide.
Six searches a participant or nominee types when looking for help to self-manage, read live from Google Australia on 9 October 2026.

Four of the top five for ndis self management are the NDIS's own pages. The only other result is The CareSide's guide, fourth. This search shows no question box. On self manage ndis plan Google asks "Can I self manage my NDIS plan?", which your self-management article already answers.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example monthly volume. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once a page sits around position three, rounded down.
Sign-ups at 2% of those visits, rounded down. Deliberately lower than the 5% used for services.
Participant sign-ups, not paying users. No price was captured from your site, so what a sign-up is worth is your number, not mine.
Halve the example volume and it is still one participant sign-up a month going to the pages above you today. The articles to support those pages are already written.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Build one page each for NDIS self management, the budget tracker and claim help, written in plain language and linked from the 17 articles, then answer the questions Google shows on those searches on the pages themselves.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The CareSide | 16 | Not dated | "Self Manage and Save Money - Flexible Self-Managed Care" | thecareside.com.au/self/managed | Home care at an average 25% saving, per its homepage |
| Plan Tracker | 13 | Not dated | "Plan Tracker Plan Management - Trusted Plan Management NDIS" | plantracker.com.au | Register for plan management, or call 1800 549 670 |
| Hai Helper | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | haihelper.com.au | Browser sign-up and a setup session with Sam |
16 ads on record point to thecareside.com.au and 13 to plantracker.com.au, placed by McMillan Shakespeare Limited. The CareSide ads in view sell home care. No paid result showed on any of the six searches the day I checked. A capped search campaign on these terms, landing on the sign-up, puts Hai Helper above the government pages.
Your homepage carries the sign-up form and a setup session booking, and the contact page has a four-field form. I did not submit any. No analytics tag fired on the homepage load because your cookie banner holds Google Analytics until a visitor accepts. That is respectful, but paid sign-ups will need consent-aware conversion tracking.
Theirs: "Want to Save 25% on Home Care?", a specific number up top, which is the right instinct. Missing: anything for a self-managing NDIS participant. The CareSide ads in view sell home care under Support at Home.
Theirs: a named story, Lynda choosing care for her husband, which is proof a reader can picture. Missing: the participant's own job. Plan Tracker's one ad offers downloads, not a look at the portal.
Theirs: short price-explainer videos of under a minute. Missing: the product itself. A participant should see in the first frame the screen that turns an invoice into claim details.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more sign-ups. Nobody in this comparison is showing a self-manager the tool in the feed, so that message is still open.
No paid result showed on any of the six searches. A small campaign on these terms, landing on the browser sign-up, puts Hai Helper above the government pages while the organic work builds.
Nothing fires until a visitor accepts cookies, which is right. Google consent mode plus a sign-up conversion means every paid sign-up can be counted without changing that promise.
One page each for NDIS self management, the budget tracker and claim help, linked from your 17 articles, gives Google a page to put where The CareSide's guide sits today.
I found no Google profile under the Hai Helper name. Plan Tracker shows 187 reviews. A profile, and reviews from the participants and coordinators already using the platform, is the cheapest credibility here.
The CareSide's ads sell home care and Plan Tracker runs one ad. A small test showing the invoice-to-claim screen, aimed at self-managers and nominees, is cheap to learn from.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the three pages I would build first and what a capped search campaign to your sign-up would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
