Five channels, checked live on 9 October 2026. Every line traces to a source captioned on the page.
| Channel | DEXpert | Expert360 | OzLance | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google rankings 6 money searches | Page one on 0 of 6 | Page one on 2 of 6 | Page one on 2 of 6 | Expert360 and OzLance each hold two page one spots on the searches clients use. You hold none yet. |
| Google Ads Transparency Centre, AU | 0 ads on record | 0 ads on record | 0 ads on record | Nobody in this comparison is paying Google. The client-side searches are open. |
| Meta Ads Ad Library, active now | None under its name | No ads found | No ads found | Nobody here is in the feed. The DEXpert search returns Mitre 10 stores using the word. |
| Landing page Where the click lands | Get Started buttons, contact form | Request talent form, phone links | Post a project form | Both competitors ask for the job on the homepage. Your homepage sends people to Get Started. |
| Reputation Google rating (reviews) | No profile found | 3.9 (22), Sydney office | No profile found | Expert360 shows 3.9 from 22 reviews on its Martin Place listing. Neither you nor OzLance has a rating a client can read. |
DEXpert has a real point of difference on its homepage: blockchain-verified skills, smart-contract bidding, fees only after success, and named professionals with their experience on show. None of the six searches shows DEXpert on page one. Expert360 is #1 for hire freelance experts australia.

FreeUp holds the top of freelance platform Australia, with Adzuna's job listings and a YouTube guide behind it. Google's question box asks whether you can use Upwork in Australia, so the searcher is comparing platforms. A page that answers that comparison is a page DEXpert does not have yet.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example monthly volume for Australia. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once those pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Sign-ups at 5% of those visits, rounded down.
Sign-ups, not paid service orders. Your site says fees are payable only after success but prints no rate, so I have not put a dollar figure on them.
Halve the example volume and it is still four sign-ups a month from people already looking for a platform. Today those searches go to Expert360, OzLance, Upwork and the job boards.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Build a page for Australian clients hiring experts and one for experts finding work, each targeting one search, link the five explainer posts into them, add titles, descriptions and organisation schema, and get a first review profile live.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Expert360 | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | expert360.com | Matched with Australian talent in 48 hours, a two-step request form |
| OzLance | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | ozlance.com.au | Post a project, compare quotes from freelancers |
| DEXpert | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | dexpert.pro | Get Started buttons, fees only after success |
No ads on record for dexpert.pro, expert360.com or ozlance.com.au. The only paid result seen was a data annotation work ad on freelance jobs australia. That leaves the client-side searches, like hire freelance experts australia, with no advertiser in the comparison. A small capped search campaign there is cheap to test while the pages are built.
Your homepage has no form: Get Started is the next step. The contact page has a four-field form framed as support, with replies in 48 to 72 hours. I did not submit it. GA4 fires on the homepage. No Google Ads or Meta tag was seen. Expert360, by contrast, asks for the job in its first screen.
Theirs: nothing to read. Neither Expert360 nor OzLance has an ad running under its name. Missing: a headline written to the client with a project to fill, not to the idea of decentralised work.
Theirs: no copy in the library. Missing: named proof. Your homepage already shows professionals with their years of experience and skills verified on the blockchain, which is the specific a client looks for before posting.
Theirs: no creative to compare. Missing: a real expert and one clear next step. A client should know in the first frame what they post and what they pay, and when.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. In this comparison the feed is empty, so the cost of learning what works is as low as it will get.
Expert360 and OzLance both ask for the job in the first screen. A short form for what is needed and when, above Get Started, turns a visiting client into a service order you can follow up.
No one in this comparison has a Google ad on record. A small campaign on hire freelance experts australia and similar terms, landing on that form, brings sign-ups while the pages climb.
GA4 already fires. Adding the Google Ads conversion tag and the Meta pixel means every sign-up can be traced to the click that sent it.
Your five explainer posts are a good base. One page for Australian clients hiring experts and one for experts finding work, linked to those posts, gives Google something to rank on these searches.
Nobody in this comparison is running Meta ads. A small test aimed at Australian project owners, showing a named expert and fees only after success, is the cheapest audience here to learn from.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through what a post-a-project form on your homepage would look like and what a capped search campaign on the client searches would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
