You have a working four-field contact form and six named testimonials from clients in Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Parramatta, North Rocks, Blacktown and Baulkham Hills. Your four-page site is not on page one for any of the six searches. Allcastle Homes holds three, and both competitors started Meta ads in the past week.

Montgomery Homes holds the top of builders sydney, with a directory at #2 and Allcastle Homes at #3. Google's question box asks how much builders charge per hour in Sydney, so the searcher is comparing builders on price before calling one.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example volume a Sydney market this size supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once those pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Enquiries at 5% of those visits, rounded down.
Enquiries, not signed jobs. No price is listed on your site, so what a build or extension is worth is your number, not mine.
Halve the example volume and it is still five homeowner enquiries a month going to the builders above you today. Your testimonials already name the suburbs those pages could target.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Give new homes, extensions and refurbishments a page each, written to one search, retitle the homepage around Sydney residential building, add local business schema, and set up a Google Business Profile so the map results have something to show.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sydney Extensions | 11 | Not dated | "Single Storey Extensions - Fixed-Price Building Contract" | sydneyextensions.com.au | Book a consultation, plus a pay later finance offer |
| Allcastle Homes | ~400 | Not dated | Not visible in the capture | allcastlehomes.com.au | Up to $95,000 in spring upgrades on selected designs |
| Crown Build | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | crownbuild.com.au/contact-us | A four-field contact form and a phone number |
Sydney Extensions has 11 ads on record pointing to its domain, selling fixed-price single storey extensions. Allcastle Homes has about 400. Neither showed on the six searches when I checked, so the paid slots on these terms were open that day. A capped search campaign on extensions and new builds, landing on a page built for it, is the fastest way in.
Your contact page has a four-field form, loading and visible, and your mobile number. I did not submit it. The number is not a tap-to-call link, and there is no offer such as a site visit or quote. No GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta tag fired on the homepage load.
Theirs: Allcastle puts "Live in one, rent the other" on its duplex ad, a specific reason to act. Sydney Extensions runs its Instagram profile card. Missing: a headline that names the homeowner's project, not the builder.
Theirs: Allcastle sells upgrades and a fixed price, with T&Cs. Missing: named local proof. Your clients in Castle Hill, Parramatta and Blacktown, by name and suburb, are the kind of specific a homeowner trusts.
Theirs: a duplex video and a profile card. Missing: your own finished work. Finished projects from your gallery show a homeowner what you actually build.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. Both competitors went live in the last week, so homeowners in your area are seeing builders in the feed now.
No builder's ad showed on five of the six searches. A small campaign on extension and new build terms, landing on a page with one clear next step, brings enquiries while the site work takes hold.
No profile came up for Crown Build. Sydney Extensions shows 4.6 from 25 reviews. Asking the six clients already quoted on your site is the cheapest credibility in this report.
New homes, extensions and refurbishments share one services page. A page each, written to one search and linked from a retitled homepage, gives Google something to rank.
No analytics or ad tag fired on your homepage, and the phone number cannot be tapped. Fixing both means every call and form can be traced to the click that sent it.
Both competitors started Meta ads this week. A small test of your gallery projects, aimed at homeowners in the suburbs your clients come from, shows what works for cents per view.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the three service pages I would build first and what a capped search campaign on extensions would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
