Five channels, checked live on 9 October 2026. Every line traces to a source captioned on the page.
| Channel | Certify Up | RPL it | Skills Certified | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google rankings 6 money searches | Page one on 0 of 6 | Page one on 3 of 6 | Page one on 3 of 6 | Both competitors hold page one spots on the RPL searches. You hold none yet. |
| Google Ads Transparency Centre, AU | 0 ads on record | 2 ads on record | About 400 ads on record | Both are paying Google. Skills Certified has around 400 ads pointing to its domain. |
| Meta Ads Ad Library, active now | No ads found | None under its name | Active, since 31 May 2026 | Skills Certified is in the feed now with about 220 ads. You and RPL it are not. |
| Landing page Where the click lands | Three-field contact form | Skills review offer, phone links | Qualification picker, forms, phone | Both competitors give a click a next step on the homepage. Yours sits on the contact page. |
| Reputation Google rating (reviews) | No profile found | 5.0 (62 reviews) | 4.5 (161 reviews) | Both competitors show a Google rating a client can read. I found no Certify Up profile on Google Maps. |
Certify Up speaks directly to migrants and skilled workers, which most RPL sites do not, and already has pages for four industries plus a referral program. None of those pages is on page one for the six searches here. RPL it and Skills Certified each hold three.
Six searches a migrant or skilled worker types before choosing an RPL service, read live from Google Australia on 9 October 2026.

Churchill Education holds the top of RPL Australia. RPL it sits third with its industries page, and its Trustpilot reviews sit second. Google's own question box asks which is the best RPL provider in Australia, so the searcher is comparing services, not reading about the scheme.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example monthly volume a national RPL market supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once your pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Enquiries at 5% of those visits, rounded down.
Enquiries, not completed qualifications. Your site shows no fee, so what a new client is worth is your number, not mine.
Halve the example volume and it is still two or three client enquiries a month going to the RPL services above you today. Four of the pages to catch them are already built.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Give the homepage a real title and description, rework the four industry pages so each targets one RPL search, add a page for RPL for migrants, add local schema, and set up a Google Business Profile so the map results have something to show.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RPL it | 2 | Not dated | "No Obligation, No Commitment - 4-6 Weeks to Qualified" | rplit.com.au | A no-cost skills review and a 1300 number |
| Skills Certified | ~400 | Not dated | "Certificate I in Construction - Save Up To $400" | skillscertified.com.au | Pick your industry and qualification, then a skills check |
| Certify Up | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | certifyup.com.au/contact-us | A consultation offer and a three-field contact form |
Skills Certified has about 400 ads on record pointing to its domain, each selling one named qualification with a saving in the headline. RPL it has two, both selling speed and no commitment. A capped search campaign on the six terms here, landing on a page built for the consultation, is the fastest way to be seen while the organic pages climb.
Your contact page has a three-field form, loading and visible. I did not submit it. The homepage has a consultation button but no phone link, and a website builder's promo banner sits above your logo. No GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta tag fired on the homepage, so a paid click today could not be traced.
Theirs: Skills Certified opens most ads with a broad question about skills and experience. One version names welders. Missing: a specific promise to the reader, such as the job, licence or visa step the qualification unlocks.
Theirs: partner RTOs, a short quiz and a 60 second check. Missing: named proof. No real client or qualification received is shown, the kind of specific your community story already has.
Theirs: short videos on Facebook and Instagram, each pointing to a quiz. Missing: an interruption a migrant recognises as their own situation in the first second, before any explanation of RPL.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. Only one of the three services in this comparison is in the feed, and its message is generic, so a sharper one has room.
Skills Certified has about 400 Google ads on record and RPL it has two. A small campaign on the six searches here, landing on a consultation page, brings enquiries while the organic work takes hold.
No tracking tag fired on your homepage. Without them no enquiry can be traced to the click or the search that sent it.
RPL it shows 5.0 from 62 reviews and Skills Certified 4.5 from 161. I found no Certify Up profile. Clients you have already guided are the quickest source of reviews.
Give the homepage a real title, rework each of your four industry pages around one RPL search, and add a page for RPL for migrants, the client you already speak to.
Skills Certified is the only service here in the Meta feed and its copy is generic. A small test aimed at migrants and skilled workers is the cheapest audience in this report to learn from.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the industry pages worth reworking first and what a capped search campaign to a consultation page would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
