Bizco has what many small stores never get to: a working cart, sharp prices from $6.73 a cartridge and a phone number on every page. The store is not on page one for the six searches here, while CartridgesDirect holds four and Cartridge World five, and CartridgesDirect has about 600 Google ads on record.
Six searches a customer types before ordering toner, ink or labels online, read live from Google Australia on 9 October 2026.

Newspower holds the top spot for compatible toner, with Cartridge World second and CartridgesDirect third, all on their homepages. Google's own question box on compatible ink asks what the difference is between original and compatible toner. A page that answers it is a page that ranks.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example volume a national toner and ink market supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once those pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Orders at 2% of those visits, rounded down.
Orders, not revenue. Cartridge prices on your homepage run from $6.73 to $97.50, so the average order value is your number, not mine.
Halve the example volume and it is still three orders a month going to the stores above you today, before counting the customers who come back for their next cartridge.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Add a sitemap, build a category page for each money search (compatible toner, Canon ink, Epson ink, custom printed labels), write product titles around the printer model a customer searches, and get reviews onto the Google Business Profile.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CartridgesDirect | ~600 | Not dated | "HP 126A Toner Cartridges", a product display ad | cartridgesdirect.com.au | Price Match Promise, model finder, delivery deal over $75 |
| Cartridge World | 8 | Not dated | "Printer Supplies in Cottesloe", one store's ad | cartridgeworld.com.au/cottesloe | One store's contact page, not opened |
| Bizco | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | bizco.au | Product grid, cart and a phone number |
About 600 ads on record point to cartridgesdirect.com.au, product by product: the capture shows HP 126A and HP 650A toner ads. Cartridge World's 8 come from a single store in Cottesloe. A capped Shopping campaign on your toner and ink lines puts your prices beside theirs on the searches where customers are ready to order.
Your homepage is the store: 17 add-to-cart forms, a search box and the phone number in the header. The number is text, not a tap-to-call link. No GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta tag was seen on the homepage load, so order tracking should go in alongside any ad spend.
Theirs: "Seen a cheaper price elsewhere? We'll match it!" It speaks to the reader's worry about overpaying. Missing: the reader's printer. Nothing in the opening line tells a Brother or HP owner the ad is for them.
Theirs: a price match promise with a list of what is not eligible. Missing: a specific, provable number. Your own prices, such as $6.73 for a Brother LC38 compatible, are the kind of proof a price match cannot show.
Theirs: bundle packs offering up to 30% off HP and Brother toner. Missing: an interrupt. A product shot of a cartridge looks like every other ink ad in the feed.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. Only one store in this comparison is in the feed, so a small test would be measured against a single competitor, not a crowd.
CartridgesDirect has about 600 Google ads on record. A small Shopping campaign on your compatible toner and ink lines puts your prices in front of customers who are ready to order.
No analytics or ad tag was seen on your homepage. Tracking each order back to its click is what lets a campaign spend on the products that sell.
Your navigation has five categories and none for Canon, Epson or custom labels. A category page per search, plus a sitemap, gives Google something to rank.
CartridgesDirect shows 3.9 from 65 reviews. Your profile shows no rating yet. Asking recent customers after delivery is the cheapest credibility in this report.
CartridgesDirect is the only store here running Meta ads. A small test aimed at office managers who reorder toner is a cheap audience to learn from.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the tracking your store needs first and what a capped Shopping campaign on your toner lines would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
