| Google rankings 6 money searches | Page one on 0 of 6 | Page one on 1 of 6 | Page one on 2 of 6 | Samantha Burke holds two wedding and planner searches. On Purpose Events holds the corporate one at #1. |
| Google Ads Transparency Centre, AU | 0 ads on record | 15 ads on record | 3 ads on record | Both are paying Google: On Purpose Events for corporate events, Samantha Burke for weddings. |
| Meta Ads Ad Library, active now | No ads found | No ads found | No ads found | Nobody in this comparison is in the feed. The first event team in has it to itself. |
| Landing page Where the click lands | 12-field enquiry form, no phone link | Contact fields, no phone link | Enquire buttons, info pack | Your enquiry page asks more than either competitor's homepage. The clicks need to reach it. |
| Reputation Google rating (reviews) | Profile, no rating shown | 5.0 (25 reviews) | 5.0 (111 reviews) | Your Google profile is live with the right number but shows no rating. Samantha Burke shows 111 reviews, On Purpose Events 25. |
Accent Flair says plainly what most planners do not: operations, floor and bar staff and on-the-ground execution in Sydney, backed by a Google profile with the right number and a 12-field enquiry page. None of the six searches here shows Accent Flair on page one. On Purpose Events has 15 Google ads on record.
Six searches a couple or event organiser types before choosing an event team, read live from Google Australia on 9 October 2026.

Event management Sydney is led by Cloud 9 Event Management, then a training course and BLE's creative agency. Two of the top five are a directory and a LinkedIn page, not planners. Google's question box asks what the seven stages of event planning are: a page that answers it shows how you run an event.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report, at an example volume a Sydney market this size supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once your pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Enquiries at 5% of those visits, rounded down.
Enquiries, not booked events. What one wedding or corporate event is worth is your number, not mine.
Halve the example volume and it is still three event enquiries a month going to the planners above you today. The enquiry page to catch them is already built.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Build one page each for wedding coordination, corporate events and event staffing in Sydney, link them from the homepage, add local schema, and ask past clients for reviews so the Google profile has a rating to show.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| On Purpose Events | 15 | Not dated | "Venues, Corporate Events & Conferences" | onpurposeevents.co/conference/planning | A contact form and a venue finder service |
| Samantha Burke | 3 | Not dated | "Wedding Planner - Sydney - Creating Your Perfect Day" | samanthaburkeevents.com | An info pack and enquire buttons |
| Accent Flair | 0 | Nothing on record | Nothing running | accentflair.com.au/appointments | A 12-field enquiry and consultation form |
On Purpose Events has 15 ads on record pointing to onpurposeevents.co, selling corporate events and conferences in Sydney. Samantha Burke has 3, selling wedding planning. Only one of the six searches showed a paid result on the day, wedding planner Sydney. A capped search campaign on the corporate and wedding terms, landing on your appointments page, is the fastest way to be seen.
Your appointments page has a 12-field form that asks for the event date, loading and visible. I did not submit it. The homepage has a Make an Enquiry button but no form and no tap-to-call link; the number is plain text. No GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta tag fired on the homepage load.
Theirs: nothing in the feed. On Google, Samantha Burke leads with "Creating Your Perfect Day", a line any planner could use. Missing: a headline written to the organiser who needs the night to run on time.
Theirs: no copy in the library. Missing: named proof. Your site already names operations, floor and bar staff and Sydney caterer relationships, which is the specific a corporate organiser looks for.
Theirs: no creative to compare. Missing: your own events and one clear next step. The venue photos on your site show a real room set for service, which beats any stock image.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. In this comparison the feed is empty, so the cost of learning what works is as low as it will get.
On Purpose Events has 15 Google ads on record, and five of the six searches showed no paid result. A small campaign on the wedding and corporate terms, landing on your enquiry form, brings enquiries while the pages climb.
Your profile is live with the right number but shows no rating. Samantha Burke shows 5.0 from 111 reviews. Asking couples and organisers you have worked with is the cheapest credibility here.
Weddings, corporate events and staffing share one services page. One page each, named for the Sydney search, gives Google something to rank on the searches your competitors hold.
No tag fired on the homepage and the number is plain text. GA4, the Google Ads conversion tag and a tap-to-call link mean every enquiry can be traced to the click that sent it.
None of the three runs Meta ads. A small test aimed at engaged couples and Sydney event organisers is the cheapest audience in this report to learn from.
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pitch. I will walk you through the three service pages worth building first and what a capped search campaign to your enquiry page would cost.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
